Looks like a type of Japanese anemone or Chinese anemone (Anemone). Some of the fall blooming type include A. hupehensis var. japonica, and A. tomentosa. Sorry I can’t tell which species or cultivars this is. According to sources. A. tomentosa is a bit taller and hardy to zone 3. A.hupensis var.japonica is hardy to zone 5, zone 4 with thick layered of mulch.
