Notes:

I have been living in this townhome for two years now and have this tree in my back courtyard. It has very small fruit hanging from it. During the spring it bears little whit flowers. Just wondering what is the name of this tree or bush?

This might be a type of snowbell (Styrax). I can’t tell for certain which species this is. I am guessing it is either Japanese snowbell (Styrax japonicus) or the American snowbell (Styrax americanus). From what I learned, the Japanese snowbell has a lateral form. Link below has description for both to compare. Best wishes! http://dendro.cnre.vt.edu/dendrology/syllabus/factsheet.cfm?ID=322
