Notes:
Met a stranger in Home Depot. he invited me to come and dig up all the perennials I wanted from his soon to be dug up garden to make way for an addition to his house. Trying to identify these two plants of many we dug up and transplanted. One photo is of the whole bed. Two of the up close photos are ones we are curious about. help with the others would also be appreciated. I believe some are He said the one that hasn’t yet bloomed will grow very tall. It has grown 1 1/2 ft. in last 2 weeks.

The first is aka Spiderwort aka Widows Tears – will get out of hand even though the flowers are very pretty.

hortiphoto Master Identifier says:
The first is a Tradescantia, a light colored cultivar like ‘Iris Pritchard’ ( http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/photo-tradescantia-virginiana-iris-pritchard-9011.htm ). The second appears to be something leguminous, possible Baptisia, but it’s difficult to say for sure without seeing the flowers.
