Hi Walter! I bought a few of these bare root pee gee hydrangeas and I’m not 100% certain how deep to plant them. The instructions said to plant the crown 2″ below the soil surface, but I thought it would rot if planted that way? The attached image has an arrow and that indicates where I planted it at the soil surface. Thanks!
