Notes:

i was given a dozen roses @6 months ago. They contained some decorative material including some brown twisted stcks ( no roots, no leaves, just sticks). The roses lasted more than 2 weeks and when I threw the flowers away I noticed that the sticks had form roots and leaf buds. The initial roots were a bright pink, gradually faded to white. I kept it in water until a week ago..lota of roots then transplanted it to dirt. NOTE: flowers were given to me in San Antonio TX from a local florist.
