Notes:

this is growing wild in the woods behind my house amongst the ivy. I’ve dug some up – big root system – and stuck in a pot. wondering if would be good ground cover for shady bank in backyard. Or if is horribly invasive and I’ll regret it

    Trillium… Very slow grower… protect from deer… Can take 7 years from seed to bloom… But there are some serious trillium aficionados. http://edgewoodgardens.net/articles/trillium.html
