I own two cats and give them catnip on occasion, but one day, I notice all these little black seeds in the tray I place it in. Being a gardener, I took a few, germinated them, and after a month, I put them outside. One grew into catnip. The other one.. Well, as you can see, it is not catnip. No flowers despite its impressive size. Any ideas? I live in Louisville, KY and it seems to absolutely love the sunlight and bi-weekly watering in this hot humid weather.

I’m not really sure but here’s is the link to the Chinese kale/Chinese broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. alboglabra) seeds & leaves images to compare to yours. The leaves on your plant do look like some thing in the Brassicaceae (mustard/cabbage family). But I’m only speculating. Best wishes!
