Notes:
We have a new home, just did the landscaping this year. These popped up, I didn’t plant them or any seeds either. They are very very deeply rooted. I wonder if they could have been in the topsoil or carried by wind. They’re beautiful and I am certain they are not a weed.

This is malva, also known as Mallow. As you can probably tell, it self seeds easily! It’s a versatile plant, and will grow in many conditions (sun or shade). Hope this helps!
