Notes:
Hi, I had a small garden dug up and organic soil added. I had a flare in my medical issues and with tons of rain many plants self-seeded. I recognize the tomato plants, but I’m curious to know what these are.. I couldn’t just pull them out. I’m wondering if they are a type of sunflower? Thanks for your help

I can’t tell for certain without their flowers to help with the ID. For now check out species in the Amranthus genus. The one in the second photo looks like its about to bloom, perhaps you can give us an update please. Thank you and best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=pigweed+grow+in+canada&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjYyOj1nZHVAhUL6YMKHTkbA0UQ7AkIXA&biw=2400&bih=1136#imgrc=12iHL04UtKKr8M:
