Notes:

If anyone could help me figure out what type this bush is… It’s now about 4 feet tall and seems to have a 4-5 foot spread and is on the NW side of the house. It’s been raining so in the pictures the leaves are drooping but usually are upright. I would like to buy more of this type and plant it on the west side of the house as a hedge/border so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You’re welcome! Yes the flowers will help to rule it in or out. You could also take a branch to local garden centers and asking them to match up with their shrubs with similar characteristics i.e. leaf’s size, venation, and opposite leaves on the stems etc… Best wishes!

Seems close… These leaves are not stiff whatsoever though, and from the images online the leaves seem stiff. I haven’t seen any flowers on this but maybe they have yet to come out. If the do, I will post again. Thank you so much for your reply!

With out its flowers to be certain. I’m guessing maybe a type of Euonymus, this might be a cultivar in the Euonymus kiautschovicus group? Check out and see if you have a match. Click on images from link below to enlarge and more information. If this isn’t Euonymus, when they bloom and you still don’t know, make new post with photos of flowers. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=Euonymus+kiautschovicus&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjK-rWWho7TAhVDKGMKHeRKCYEQ7AkINw&biw=1566&bih=758
