Notes:
I got zinnia seeds 4 yrs ago & have been planting/harvesting each year from those same seeds for a lovely mix of colors & shapes. This plant volunteered this year. It had darker, thickly set, doubled leaves from the start. The flower is much larger than any of the others, and the centers seem doubled. The leaves grouped in 4-5 point stars, or 2-3 on one side, instead of the usual opposite pairs. The pix are two blooms on the same plant. Do I have a ‘sport/throwback’ here? New variety perhaps?
