The busy back ground renders the plant’s details not so clearly to be certain. I’m taking a guess only, perhaps the rusty Menziesia (Rhododendron menziesii syn. Menziesia ferruginea)? Check it out and see if you have a match. If that isn’t that, hope you could go back for more photos of closeup flowers and branches.
