Notes:
new plant that I’ve never seen before. No idea how it ended up in my yard. It is extremely thorny. It has clusters of about to bloom small yellow flowers. The leaves are shaped almost like oak leaves and are dark green. Soil is CA clay but in a watered area. Approx 1 ft tall and 1 ft across. I am curious what it is. Thanks
