Notes:
This is growing along the banks of Buffalo Bayou near downtown Houston. The area was well shaded by trees, much like my yard, so this could be a good ground cover for me. I do not think it’s a wildflower in the sense that it grew randomly for it was in a well maintained section below some landscape beds growing in a manicured area.
