Notes:
This vine “just appeared” in our street-side yard. I, along with many neighbors, am very curious what plant it is. What is growing on this vine?

If it IS pumpkin, and you have the most sincere pumpkin patch, the Great Pumpkin will rise out of your pumpkin patch to bring candy to all the good little boys and girls.

Not watermelon. Flowers are too big and the leaves are not the right shape. More likely some type of squash, maybe pumpkin

They can grow but there’s not enough time left for them to get to eating size. They’ll die in the first frost which for us is usually sometime in Oct. You’ll have to plant new seeds next April to try again!
