I have a pin oak in my backyard. I saw a lot of black peppercorn-looking things this year scattered around, which I have never seen before. I am not sure it is connected with the pin oak but that is the only thing I can think of. I attached a picture of it. Is it possible for you to identify it? Thank you for your help.
