My son’s family was on vacation in Georgia & came across this spectacular red flowered tree. We’ve searched online to find a tree with such compact red flowers but to no avail. We would love to be informed as to what it is. Thank you.

Thank you. I too thought it to be a camellia but it’s a tree. Another photo shows it to be about 20″ tall. You’re right with the link so must be a super happy camellia! Thanks again!
