Notes:

Seems to be asomewhat small bush-type mounded plant. Very curious about what this is and where I can find one to put in my garden. It blooms extremely early in the spring for Southeastern Massachusetts. Has very unique leaflets and the the lavender flowers drape downward.

    Looks like a Lenten Rose (helleborus) to me too. Great color. Mine are a pale greenish color but they can range from very pale to quite dark purple.

    Looks like a kind of hellebore, but the leaves are not the same as the ones I am familiar with.
