It is about 3 feet tall and starting to make what looks like conical flowers. I have not known if it is “good” or “bad” and doesn’t seem to be anywhere else, so I let it grow. However, I want to know what it is before it seeds. Thank you!! N

Looks like common mullein. It’s soft leaves were appreciated long before Charmin came along. Cowboy toilet paper was a welcome sight on those long dusty Big Sky trail rides! http://www.plants.usda.gov/core/profile?symbol=VETH Enjoy your mullein I don’t think you would find it invasive.
